I have been friends with the members of Counting Crows for the past 20 years and I often bring my camera when I attend their concerts. I decided to post some of my favorite shots I have taken of them over the past 2 decades. This first group is from a show at Snow Daze in Vail, Colorado on December 12th, 2006. It was, by far, the coldest Counting Crows concert I ever attended and, at the same time, one of the most memorable.
I had the distinct pleasure of photographing the first Bar Mitzvah at Ramah in the Rockies, a camp outside of Deckers (Jefferson County), Colorado. The Bar Mitzvah was Josh Eakman and his family recently moved from Utah to Las Vegas, Nevada. His mom, dad, grandmother, sister and brother were all on hand as were all of his new Ramah family members. It truly was a wonderful simcha and I count myself fortunate to have been in attendance. Mazel tov to Josh and the whole Eakman family.
